GRM International Vacancy: Finance Manager, Surabaya

Background:
The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Promoting Rural Income through Support for Markets in Agriculture (AIP-PRISMA) is an ambitious new rural development program which aims to contribute to a 30%, or more, increase in net incomes for 1,000,000 poor rural female and male farmers, 300,000 of which will be reached by June 2017.

AIP-PRISMA officially began on December 1st, 2013, and requires an experienced operations team to support the Program.

The role:
The Finance Manager will ensure that monitoring systems provide timely and relevant reports to support efficient, accountable implementation, and that internal controls, timely response to external or internal audits and other reviews are effective. This position will be supported by a Finance Officer and two Finance Assistants.

Selection criteria:
The successful applicants will have demonstrate:
  • Fully qualified accountant or a university degree in Accounting, with Finance, Business Administration options or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7 years post qualification experience with increasing levels of responsibility with reputable accounting firm, NGO, company or donor agency.
  • Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with accounting and non-accounting professionals.
  • Thorough understanding of IT systems, including advanced computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and the internet.
  • Demonstrated ability to promote and initiate work processes and complete given assignments with minimum supervision.
  • Trustworthiness, integrity, good analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and be customer-satisfaction oriented.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
