ASIA-PACIFIC PROGRAMME
Working closely with local partners, the Asia-Pacific Programme currently includes a broad range of species and landscape targeted conservation initiatives in Cambodia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Myanmar, and has country programme offices in Phnom Penh, Jakarta, Yangon and Hanoi. Around 120 projects are being implemented in the region by a team of approximately 400 staff, consultants, volunteers and partner organisations with an annual regional budget of approximately USD 7 million.

Job Title: Accountant

- Finance Manager FFI-Indonesia Program.
- Program Manager, FFI - Aceh Office.
- Support the FFI Aceh Office, in providing high quality financial analysis and monitoring across the regional portfolio of projects.
- Ensure the timeliness, quality and effectiveness of a wide range of financial and administrative processes to assist with project planning, development and implementation.
- Communicate all finance related SOPs smoothly to the FFI Aceh team and to the partners.
- Review expenses report from staffs, prepare voucher, entry cashbook & bank transaction.
- Review cashbook/expense report from partner.
- Update and maintain finance and administration systems as required, to ensure accurate financial management and reporting.
- Monitoring status of staff advance, and other payable/receivable accounts.
- Maintain petty cash.
- Review and provide BvA report (Budget vs Actual report) for all Aceh project funds.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties which are consistent with the post and the aims and Objectives of the position Duties may be altered, reasonably added or delegated from time to time to reflect changes within the organisation’s activities and structure

- At least three years’ work experience in finance and accounting.
- Diploma/Bachelor degree in Accounting (most preferred) or any other related study.
- Team player, ability to work independently and has positive working aptitude.
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel and preferably pivot table.
- Knowledge of Indonesian Taxation is preferable.

Specific Responsibilities
- To help FFI - IP Program Manager for FFI Aceh office operation and secretariat
- Maintain petty cash.
- To file all FFI documents/archives and to be responsible for confidentiality and neatness of those documents/archives.
- To record and manage all documents and letters disposition, such as (but not limited to) outgoing and incoming letters, proposals
- To prepare outgoing letters from FFI Aceh
- To reserve air, land, and sea tickets, hotel, and other accommodations for all FFI staff and consultants (for domestic travel: inter provinces and/or sites)
- To arrange operational cars for supporting Program staff/team's site visit
- To coordinate with Admin division of FFI Jakarta office for visa arrangement
- To coordinate with Procurement & Admin division of FFI Jakarta office for procurement
- To receive invoice from vendor and prepare Request for Payment to Finance Division
- To supervise the cleanliness, comfortability and security of office space and environment
- To support other divisions activities as necessary without disrupting his/her main tasks and responsibility as agreed upon
- Minimum a Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in handling administration duties in an organisation of similar size and scale.
- Proven ability in handling multiple tasks effectively under tight schedule and work pressure.
- Proven ability to plan and manage schedules, files/database and working materials as well as to keep confidentiality of documents and information.
- Warm personality and strong communication and persuasion skills in effectively dealing with clients and stakeholders from different backgrounds.
- Fairly in English and Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia.
