A consortium of several NGOs and universities working for Disaster Risk Reduction through community radio requires one person as a program officer to be placed in an office located in Solo. The full-time position an offering is Program Officer National Advocacy and Knowledge Development (NA-KD). The intended candidates are expected to meet various requirements, job descriptions and deliverable as follows:

Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in any major, with at least ten years experience working in the development sector / civil society organizations, of which five years are involved in issues of disaster management / Disaster risk reduction or development of community media / emergency radio.
- Understand the principles of community participation. Having experience in developing media based on community participation is preferred.
- Fluently communicating in English, both oral and written
- Having the capacity to manage activities and understand the respective objectives and outputs, including experience in operating strategic planning based on a logical framework or theory of change.
- Experienced in complying with the project's "Standard Operating Procedures" both in the implementation of activities and finance, including meet with specified requirements
- Experienced in carrying out various advocacy activities and dealing with parties both Government and Non-Government, at the Central and Local levels
- Understanding the flow of advocacy activities, including easily understanding the substance and experience in conducting communication / lobbying to the parties.
- Experienced in knowledge management, based on field practice, including managing writers and ensuring good practice documents are produced and disseminated
- Have the capacity to monitor activities based on reports and field visits
- Having experience and skills in preparing reports on a regular basis
- Have a high initiative to solve various challenges and obstacles in the field, including meeting administrative and financial needs
- Develop a detailed work plan including formulating activity indicators and outputs in the first week of each project period
- Communicating project activities (objectives, outputs, approaches, involvement of stakeholders and also benefits at the beginning, the running process and the end of the project) to the parties concerned, as well as ensuring the risk of incomprehension of stakeholders or the parties involved in the project can be minimized.
- Establish and maintain communication with parties involved in advocacy activities at the national and local levels
- Implement various meeting activities with various parties to ensure the formulation of a draft related to the regulation of emergency radio / community radio for Disaster Risk Reduction
- Managing documents (ensuring each narration meets the terms of reference and sufficient information, and reviewed by designated reviewers) good practice emergency radio/community radio for disaster risk reduction, including ensuring the process runs to produce the final product
- Implement knowledge and good practices dissemination activities related to the program to other regions
- Prepare various documents related to the above activities, including TOR Activities, MoM, Final Activity Reports, Monthly Reports, Quarterly Reports and Final Reports
- TOR for each activity implemented
- Activity report, Monthly report, Quarterly, and Annual report
- Minutes of a meeting of respective meeting with stakeholder
- The results of the calculation of M&E indicators for the work for which he/she is responsible
- Documents with various good practices on emergency radio (response) and community radio for DRR
- Draft Regulation / Input Regulation on the Existence of Radio (Response) Emergency / Community Radio for DRR
