Indonesia, Save the
Children currently works in eleven provinces, has staff of
approximately 200 local professionals, and programming in Child
Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction,
and Humanitarian Response.
Save the Children in Indonesia is seeking
to fill the following position:
SENIOR EASTERN INDONESIA MANAGER
1 position, based in Kupang
Code : SEIM
ROLE PURPOSE:
Senior
Eastern Indonesia Manager will lead all activities of Save the Children
in the NTT (please note that Sumba will remain separately managed
program for the time being) and East Java province. Project work
includes health
and nutrition, education and child protection projects based out of our
offices in Kupang, Atambua and Malang. Project implementation duties
will include ensuring all program activities are implemented according
to plan and at a high-level of quality; all
reporting and planning is completed in a timely manner and at a
high-quality; all communications are completed in a timely and accurate
manner; we coordinate well with key external stakeholders; all child
safeguarding controls are enforced; and financial and
administrative management adheres to Save the Children and donors
policies, regulations, and good practices. S/he will also represent
Save the Children in NTT and Eastern Java and support program
development and emergency preparedness and response. S/he
will also actively participate on the Extended Senior Management Team
(ESMT) and systematically share knowledge from/with the all projects
within Save the Children in Indonesia. The position will require travel
to field locations and support for hosting donor
visits.
