Tetra Tech ARD, headquartered in Burlington, Vermont is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified
candidates for a potential Private Sector Engagement Specialist position
on a USAID funded program in Indonesia. The program, known as SOROT,
will address the market forces, financial incentives, policy levers, and
social norms and values that drive deforestation and biodiversity loss
in Indonesia. SOROT will subsequently promote enduring changes in
individual and organizational behavior in order to reduce greenhouse gas
(GHG) emissions and conserve valuable marine and terrestrial
biodiversity across Indonesia.
The Private Sector Engagement Specialist is an expert in private sector dynamics in Indonesia and with a good track record of working with the international organizations in a related area. Further s/he will ensure the quality and timely preparation of all reports and documentation related to the component. The position will be full time and based in Jakarta.

Qualifications:
- Degree in business management, public relations, forestry, natural resource management, or international development; Master’s degree preferred;
- Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in effective private sector collaboration and development, preferably in environment conservation or forestry at national and sub national levels;
- Demonstrated understanding of palm oil, pulp and paper, and other forest-based business, as well as the Indonesian business environment;
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English required;
- Experience working on USAID funded programs preferred;
- Qualified Indonesian nationals strongly encouraged to apply.
