POSITION INFORMATION
Position Title: Temporary Program Assistant
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
Job Type and duration of contract: Full-Time, 4 month contract period

PROGRAM BACKGROUND
PNPM Peduli is a 2.5 year program funded by DFAT to improve the social inclusion of marginalized Indonesian citizens in economic growth and social welfare programs. Disability is mainstreamed throughout the program, as well as people with disabilities being a specific beneficiary group.
As a partner to Kemenkokesra, Bappenas and DFAT, through PNPM Peduli the Asia Foundation will also play a role advising these agencies more broadly on disability inclusion in government policy and bi-lateral assistance from the Government of Australia.
SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Directors/Team Leader and Program Officers to review proposals and budgets, managing program files, drafting letters, and handling contacts with local, national, international institutions, agencies and personalities as well as assist Director/Team Leader and Program Officers in ensuring that program funds are appropriately disbursed in a timely manner.
Program Assistant is also responsible for organizing meetings, workshops, trainings, and other program related events. PA is basically responsible for logistical, administrative and financial aspects of program activities and grants management.
Additionally, the Program Assistant will be required to provide accurate and timely translation to various Indonesian and English documents.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum three years in a grant or program administration position with an internationally focused non-profit organization. 
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia. 
  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • Professional organizational abilities. 
  • Computer proficient in word processing, spreadsheets and database management. 
  • Knowledge of Indonesian NGO community and government agencies. 
  • Knowledge of international donor agency requirements and regulations. 
  • Knowledge of grant-making process and procedures
