RTI is seeking for Accounting
Supervisor for our RTI Indonesia Asia Regional Office based in
Jakarta.
Job Summary:
The Accounting Supervisor will report to the
Regional Finance Director. The incumbent responsible to run finance and
accounting functions for the regional office, ensuring that RTI financial
policies are properly implemented and all transactions are properly processed,
recorded, and reported on time. The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for
the accuracy of these transactions so as to ensure compliance with all RTI and
client policies and procedures.
The Accounting Supervisor is to regularly
assist Regional Finance Director to review the financial system to identify
aspects that can be improved.
Essential Duties
and Responsibilities:
- Manages all financial and administrative aspects of the Regional Office and ensures compliance with RTI and US Government (USG) financial and accounting policies and procedures.
- Oversees preparation and submission of monthly financial statements (including expenses, receivables, payables and taxation).
- Ensures timely submission of expense reports, bank reconciliations, and wire transfer requests to corporate headquarters in the US.
- Ensures timely response and feedback to any issues addressed by the International Accounting team and the other business partners.
- Prepares biweekly cash requirements; monitors cash flow and reconciles cash accounts to maintain appropriate cash balances.
- Prepares monthly financial reports and tracks expenditures vs approved budget.
- Oversee the tax calculation, payment and reconciliation for Income Taxes and Value Added Tax.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor in alignment with his/her professional standard.
Minimum Required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting with at least 6 years of experience in financial and administrative management, with experience in auditing will be preferable
- Have knowledge in accounting, finance, taxes, and administration.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Indonesian.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- High standard of personal and professional integrity.
- High degree of adaptability to varied working environments and good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Experience in managing project/accounting/financial management. Experience in project financed by USAID is an advantage.
- Deep knowledge in excel, internet banking and email. Experience work with QuickBooks software will be an advantage.
