Program Summary – CRISPI
Organization is being awarded a funded of Climate Resilient Infrastructure Services project for Indonesia (CRISPI) to target Cirebon city to enhance the resilience of its infrastructure system in the face of climate change related hazards.

The goal of CRISPI is to develop innovative approaches and practical tools promoting climate resilient infrastructure for Indonesian cities through partnership between government, civil society and the private sector.

The 12-month program will work with the city government and relevant stakeholders from civil society, the private sector and community to 1) carry out inventory mapping, 2) incorporate information on city infrastructure assets into climate resilient planning activities, and 3) facilitate a rapid vulnerability assessment (RVA) at the city level to identify high-priority climate risks that require adaptation and resiliency responses to city infrastructure. 

1. Project Coordinator - CRISPI
The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of project staff to design, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate project activities. In addition, the Project Coordinator is accountable for baseline surveys, finalizing timelines, work plans, staff development, deployment and supervision as well as maintaining coordination with technical support staff and other projects and departments of Mercy Corps.

Qualifications:
  • Possess a relevant university degree in Urban Planning with 4 plus years of work experience in implementing multi-sectoral urban infrastructure and development programs, and urban governance and planning processes in Indonesia; 
  • Demonstrated expertise in program development, log frame design, monitoring & evaluation, report writing, and grant management; 
  • Experience working with City governments/department of public works/planning agency, private sector actors, communities, climate change initiatives and development projects; 
  • Sound understanding of climate change issues, resilience debate, and best practices in an urban setting in Indonesia and globally; 
  • Proven skills in document/newsletter publications, conference presentation and webinar facilitation to promote the shared learning dialogues and other learning exchanges in the field of climate resilient infrastructure services and planning; 
  • Effective time management and organization skills including priority setting and responding to program needs; 
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills including: problem-solving skills, being proactive and takes initiative; 
  • Familiar in Project Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation is preferred; 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office: Word, Excel and Power Point and other relevant IT software; 
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
