Communications Officer
1 ( one ) position, 3 months contract - Jakarta

Purpose of job:
The post holder is required to support the Senior
Partnership and Communications Manager on PR, press and media relations to
maximise the publicity of British Council in Indonesia. This is a great
opportunity for a creative individual interested in developing skills in
marketing and communications.

The British Council is the UK’s international

build trust between them worldwide. In Indonesia, we work with professionals
and policy makers and thousands of young people every year by teaching English,
sharing the Arts and delivering education and society programmes.
You should have:
- A university degree graduate is preferable
- Firsthand experiences in Public Relations, communication/media are an asset
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; organized and detail oriented
- Professional knowledge, skills and experience in developing media collaterals
- Ability to respond to media queries; track mentions of the organization in the media
- Strong communications skills in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Experience in social media is preferable

is likely to be some late evening work or working during weekends, if required1
