Background
DAI is currently preparing
for a number of donor funded opportunities in Indonesia in the environmental
sector. It is anticipated that the
projects will work closely in partnership with the national and local
government, as well as with key institutions responsible for natural resource
management and urban planning.
Qualifications
Sought:
DAI is recruiting
experts in the fields of land use governance, protected area management, sustainable
forest management (including REDD+),
marine and coastal conservation and management (including mangrove
restoration), biodiversity conservation, urban planning, climate change
adaptation, disaster risk reduction, clean energy investments, and sustainable
livelihoods. Project management experts
with financial, grants and operations management are also encouraged to apply. A sound academic background in a related field
and demonstrated expertise working with
national governments and on donor funded development projects is required. We welcome applications for both short- and
long-term opportunities.
Requirements:
- Advanced Degree in a relevant field (e.g. international development, public administration, urban planning, forestry, natural resource management, marine science, climate science, etc.)
- Minimum of 7-10 years professional experience in one of the above technical areas
- Experience working on international donor funded projects, preferably with USAID
- Project management experience including:
- Monitoring and evaluation of environment projects
- Finance and administration of donor projects
- Communications
- Grants Management
- Excellent English communication skills
