Job vacancy - AKSANSI Technial & Social Coordinator, Yogyakarta

Established in 2006, AKSANSI is an Association of Community Based Organization (CBO) Sanitation troughout Indonesia. AKSANSI is a bottom up organization and play roles as the umbrella organization which accommodates the needs of CBO in order to maintain a sustainable operational and maintenance of the Community Based Sanitation (CBS) system both in technical and social aspect with various Post Construction activities.
AKSANSI Secretariat is the representative of AKSANSI to conduct Operational and official administration and so far managing 13 AKSANSI branches in the city level and 6 Branches in provincial level. Under BORDA project, AKSANSI Secretariat achieve the sustainable resources management in Southeast Asia for 2013-2016. Currently AKSANSI Secretariat looking for 2 dinamic candidate to fulfill position for :
 
 
1 position for TECHNICAL COORDINATOR (TC), duty station : Yogyakarta.
Starting date : 19 may – 1 june 2014
 
JOB DESCRIPTION
1.     Conduct Community Based Sanitation Pre-Monitoring, Monitoring Activities and Corrective action
·         Pre-monitoring data collection
·         Arrange Premonitoring forms sending and ensure the returning forms by conducting reguler coordination with branches
·         Evaluate premonitoring forms in coordination with BSD for further follow ups with BORDA Partner (Revising, updating, follow up action)
·         CBO Pre-Monev filling system and CBS filling system
·         Provide analysis of Premonitoring result for reporting and further monitoring activities and utilization as part of corrective action
 
2.     Biogas Task Force Activities
·         Identify, select, screen future Biogas Taskforce, including arrange and facilitate training
·         Coordinate Biogas Taskforce and update progress of Taskforce
·         Provide technical advice on minor finding and repair
·         Prepare follow up action on major finding in Biogas
3.     Support Research and Development Activities

·         Collaborate with BORDA Team for field training regarding wastewater treatment system
·         Collaborate with BORDA RnD Team for MID Flow Meter training
·         Collaborate with BORDA RnD Team to conduct sampling training
·         Conduct CBS Monitoring Activities
 
4.     CBO Data Management
·         Store and update CBO contact from BORDA Partner and CBOs
·         Contribute in GIS Module development
 
5.     Operational Maintenance (O&M) Activities
·         Revise and update training manual for operators and AKSANSI members, as well as train them together with BSD, RnD and BORDA
 
Required Competence and Qualification
Formal Education
D3 or S1 from any major preferable technical engineering, active English, energetic, friendly and service oriented.
 
Additional qualifications
·         Computer literate (MS Office)
·         Familiar with electronic tools
·         Flexible and willing to travel around Indonesia
·         Good interpersonal and communication skills
·         Fulfil his/her duties with full responsibilities according the organization’s regulations and instructions.
·         Experiencing on technical rehabilitation activities
·         Honest, honor the code of conduct, attention to details and energetic
·         Use and maintain Office equipment in a good manner
·         Able to fit with plural/international team
 
Work experience
·         Minimum 1 - 3 years in the same position and similar Organization or NGO
·         Preferable having experiences in Community Based Sanitation

Starting date : 19 may – 1 june 2014

 
JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Develop Frequently Asked Questions on CBO social problems
·         Develop report on City scale social problems mapping and follow up proposal

·         Store and update CBO contact from BORDA Partner and CBOs
 
4.     Operational Maintenance (O&M) Activities
·         Develop social training modules for Operational & Maintenance Phase
·         Develop proposal to Local Governments for social training
 
 
Required Competence and Qualification

S1 from any major preferable social studies, active English, energetic, friendly and service oriented.
