The Indonesian Science Fund or in bahasa: Dana Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia/DIPI is a new organization established under the auspices of Indonesia Academy of Science (Akademi Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia-AIPI). The objective of establishment DIPI is to set up independent mechanism to directly fund scientists and engineers to produce world-class research. For this purpose, DIPI will establish a procedure to fund multi-year grants on a variety of scientific topics, which will be awarded based on merit based procedures and a system of peer review.
As independent funding institution and for the sustainability of funding, DIPI has to seek funding from multi sources such as government, private sectors, international fund, and philantropies. For this purpose, DIPI seeking an Indonesian Resources Mobilization Director to support the Excutive Director find the potential multi donor who interest in making donation for basic or fundamental research in Indonesia. The initial assignment for this position will be three (3) months for probation, and then extent to one (1) year contract.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Resources Mobilitization (Resmob) Director is a full time job position that will work under the direction of the Executive Director of the Indonesia Science Fund and will be responsible for all aspect of raising support from foundations, corporations, and government sources requiring proposals for research funding projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop the policy and strategy of fund raising to get approved by executive director and science steering board (Dewan Pengarah Ilmiah/ DPI)
- Develop mid term strategic plan for resource mobilization
- Develop operational plans which incorporate goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the organization
- Assist the Fund Manager in managing fund such as endowment fund, etc.
- Develop effective teamwork with Executive Director, Science Director and other staff
- Ensure that the program of fund raising meets the policy and strategy, the expectations of DPI, funders and other stakeholders
- Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the fund raising programs and events
- Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with science community groups, funders, philantrophies, politicians, and other organizations related to fund raising
- Attend and conduct regular coordination meeting related with resource mobilization, and representing executive director or DIPI in many forum as appropriate.
- Master’s degree, Phd’s degree preferred
- Full time work and professional
- Senior executive with extensive fundraising expertise in the education or non- profit sector
- Track record of successful resource mobilization and development of fundraising departments or business units
- Operating environment and potential for public and private resource mobilization
- Sophisticated cross cultural communication skills
- The personal characteristic of Resource Mobilization Director should demonstrate competencies in adaptability, ethical behavior, relationships building, effective communication, creativity/Innovation.
