Position title : Child Facilitator
Report to : Program Officer
Duty Station : Yogyakarta Sub Field Office
Type of Contract : 12 Months
 
Position Scope
Under the oversight supervision and guidance of Program Officer the incumbent will responsible to manage Orphan Aid Program funded by Muslim Aid Australia at the field level & provide technical assistance and capacity building to the orphanage committee and the orphans.

Specific Task
The following specific duties have been enumerated mainly for the incumbent to have a clear understanding of the position and the roles and responsibilities expected.
  • Conducting assessment to identify the target of beneficiaries and their need relating to Muslim Aid program 
  • Managing orphan aid program at the field level in effectiveness and accountable mechanism and take initiative and creative in managing the program.
  • Responsible to assist the orphanages to provide a good parenting and education to the orphans.
  • Providing technical assistance and mentoring to the target orphans to develop their self development and life skill.
  • Conducting regular field visit and monitoring to the target orphanages relating to Muslim Aid program.
  • Prepare regular report on progress and obstacles of the program and result of monitoring submitted to the line manager
  • Make close coordination and a good communication with target orphanages, local government, Social Agency and other stakeholders to ensure the program can run well and sustainable.   
  • Identify any constraints and issues, particularly in relation to the orphanages and target beneficiaries, and find a solution focused approach.
  • Assist in undertaking initiatives promoting Muslim Aid’s image and activities in the program region.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
  • Have ability for management program
Desirable Qualifications:
  • It could be fresh graduate of bachelor in social & child education background, psychology or has child education experience background
  • Ability to work independently
  • Have a good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Have own initiative
  • Can work with minim direction and supervision
  • Have a capacity to write the report
  • Highly commitment to works as a plan
  • Attention to detail.
  • Honest, flexible, drive for results, respect for diversity, creative think
  • Fluency in Javanese and or English ability is advantageous.
  • Home based in Yogyakarta
