Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist – Education Partnership Outreach Services

Remuneration will be in compliance with the DFAT (former AusAID) Adviser Remuneration Framework – Level C3
 
Short term position to June 2016
 
URS is the managing contractor of the Education Partnership Outreach Services (EPOS), providing project management and technical support.  The objective of EPOS is to deliver a public diplomacy and outreach program that will ensure Australia’s profile as a partner supporting Indonesia’s education development goals are both visible and recognised.
 
We are seeking expressions of interest from Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialists who are fully conversant with the DFAT (former AusAID) Performance Management and Evaluation Policy and M&E Standards, and have a strong theoretical base with the ability to turn theory into practice. The candidate will be able to develop, revise and implement the M&E Plan and lead a small team, including undertaking training and coordinating of national and international support team’s input into M&E. The candidate must be able to write substantive program reports in English.

In addition, you will have the following experience:
  • Coordinating inputs from others in the team and undertaking the appropriate analysis and making recommendations for updating program strategy, implementation plan and M&E Plan.
  • Development of Annual Performance Reports.
  • Working in Indonesia.
  • Be a highly effective communicator, with strong fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Working on an Australian aid program is desirable.
  • An understanding of the education sector in Indonesia is desirable.
  • Bahasa Indonesia skills are highly desirable.
