Lowongan HELM Project Indonesia - Deputy Chief of Party [DCP], Jakarta

Project Overview
The USAID/Higher Education Leadership and Management (HELM) project was awarded to Chemonics International on November 28, 2011. The five year project was designed to support Indonesia’s Higher Education (HE) sector in increasing its quality and relevance through improved focus on administration and management capacity.

In partnership with the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Directorate General of Higher Education (DIKTI), HELM provides technical assistance, training, and additional support to strengthen the leadership capacity and increase effectiveness in the following four core management areas: 

1) General administration and leadership;
2) Financial management;
3)  Quality assurance, and
4) Collaboration with external stakeholders.

We invite applications from dynamics and energetic team players for the following position:

Deputy Chief of Party [DCP]
 
General Requirements:
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Fluency in English required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skill; must be confident in Microsoft applications.
  • Must be interested in working with a multi-cultural, international team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree or relevant university degree required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in education and/or development; proven track record in successful program implementation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of USAID rules and regulations with a demonstrated capacity to manage grants and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Experience supervising and leading teams and monitoring staff performance
  • Strong communication and coordination skills required.
