Vacancy Announcement
No. 13/INS/JKT/PSR/027

Introduction
The World Food Programme (WFP) is the United Nations' frontline agency in the fight against global through food and nutrition technical assistance. WFP's food assistance reaches more than 97 million people in 80 countries every year. It provides food support to populations in emergency situations and helps spur development

The World Food Programme Indonesia Country Programme and the associated Country Programme Action Plan (CPAP), signed between WFP Indonesia and the People's Welfare Ministry, Government of Indonesia, reflects the dynamic transformation Indonesia is undergoing today as an emerging middle income country. It supports the Government's commitment to achieve food and nutrition security for all, and is designed to enhance the Government's capacity in three areas: (i) monitoring, analysing, mapping and addressing food security; (ii) emergency preparedness and response; and (iii) the reduction of under nutrition below critical levels.
