Chemonics International, a global international development
consulting firm seeks qualified Indonesian specialists for the USAID
Higher Education Leadership and Management (HELM) project in Indonesia. HELM
aims to improve the academic performance of Indonesia’s higher education sector
through analytical support for strategic planning, policy analysis, and
capacity development approaches for effective implementation of key reforms
throughout Indonesia’s higher education sector. We are looking for an

Communications Digital Media Associate
The
communication team responsibilities are divided among three positions:
Communication Manager, Communication Digital Media
Associate, and Communication Outreach Associate. The team is
expected to work together to complete tasks in a timely manner, under guidance
and supervision from the Communication Manager. The Communication Outreach
Associate will work to expand HELM outreach to (and between) HEI partners. The
Communication Digital Outreach Associate will take responsibility for daily
upkeep and maintenance of the HELM learning portal as well as other digital
media support, and will be responsible to ensure correct templates and
formatting of all HELM products.
This is not a supervisory position. The Communications Digital Media will coordinate tasks within
the communication team and support other communication products and activities
but will be primarily responsible for the HELM learning portal and final
formatting of HELM products.
As
teamwork is crucial to the success of the project, Communication Digital Media will coordinate communication work with
technical and operations staff, as per direction from the Communications
manager, the Program Coordinator (PC), and the Chief of Party (COP).
Eligibility Requirements for this
Position:
- Bachelor degree in communications or related field required.
- Minimum three years of experience working as a communication specialist required. USAID program experience preferred.
- Proof of highly developed English communication skills both written and verbal required.
- Excellent skills in document writing, formatting and editing required.
- Familiarity with Indonesian higher education system preferred.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to work well on teams.
- Must be interested in working with a multi-cultural, international team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
