Higher Education Leadership and Management (HELM) project in Indonesia.
HELM aims to improve the academic performance of Indonesia’s higher
education sector through analytical support for strategic planning, policy
analysis, and capacity development approaches for effective implementation
of key reforms throughout Indonesia’s higher education sector. We are

*Training Assistant*
The Training Assistant will assist the Training and Capacity Building
Specialist implement the planning and execution of in-country training
activities for the HELM project in a holistic manner. The position of
Training Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Training and
Capacity Building Specialist in the management, design arrangement,
execution, and reporting of training programs and other capacity
development activities and events that are carried out or supported by HELM.
The Training Assistant will ensure short-term training events meet
organizational and administrative quality goals, including all record
keeping, data on participants and bills from vendors are complete, so that
that HELM contract performance targets and deliverables are completed in a
timely and cost-effective manner at a high level of quality.
As teamwork is crucial to the success of the project, the Training
Assistant will coordinate with other technical, managerial and
administrative HELM staff, and may be asked to complete other project
related tasks per direction from the DCOP and the Chief of Party.
*Eligibility Requirements for this Position*
1. 1. Demonstrated training skills and events management experience is
required. Training experience in higher education is preferred.
2. 2. Bachelor degree in education or relevant field is required.
3. 3. Strong computer skills required. Strong English preferred.
4. 4. Minimum 5 years of training experience in education, social
development, or related field is required. USAID or other international
donor experience preferred.
5. Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to work
well on teams.
6. Must be interested in working with a multi-cultural, international team
in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
