Kelola is a national non-profit organization established in 1999 to enhance and promote the vitality of Indonesian arts. It works directly with Indonesian arts practitioners, across nationwide communities, in response to the needs by providing access to learning opportunities, funding, and information. Kelola also promotes cultural exchange by facilitating artists and art practitioners to engage in dialogue, gain and share skills and knowledge, as well as to build networks within Indonesia and with the international cultural communities.

Currently Kelola has an immediate need for a qualified and experienced staffs to join in our program ‘Creative Communities II’.

The positions are:
  • Procurement-Financial Specialist
  • Communication Specialist
  • Project Manager
  • Project Staff
  • Administrative-Finance Staff

Positions and qualification :

1. Procurement-Financial Specialist
  • Educational background a minimum bachelor degree at accounting, management or other related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of budgeting, procurement oversight, accepted and understanding international accounting principles and the practical application of financial management systems.
  • Ability to apply and manage complex accounting and financial systems in compliance with established controls and procedures.
  • Extensive proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database programs, as well as accounting software.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively liaise and coordinate with a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Self-starter that takes initiative with a superb sense of collegiality, discretion and confidentiality.
  • A keen interest to help build-up a new office operationally as well as organizing high-visibility events.
2. Communication Specialist
  • Educational background a minimum of bachelor degree in communication or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of oral and written communications and interpersonal relations skills in order to determine the most effective proposals and presentation materials.
  • Professional level skills in writing and editing preferable for a non-profit organization.
  • Professional level skills in print production.
  • Interpersonal skills to facilitate work with a wide range of individuals and groups from culturally diverse publics.
  • Experience in conducting research projects and documenting findings. Skill in interviewing a variety of people and gathering and synthesizing information from many sources.
  • Ability to use a variety of personal computer software applications, including desktop publishing.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines with limited staff to support projects.
3. Project Manager
  • Educational Background a minimum of bachelor degree at management 
  • Understanding of development issues and the use of cultural interventions within development trajectories, with experience or ability to work directly with local NGOs and communities.
  • Good negotiating skills.
  • Strong management, operational, and organizational skills, ability to delegate and divide tasks amongst a team.
  • Able to perform under pressure, while meeting deadlines.
  • A proven track record and minimal 5 years experience in executing and managing programs and projects within the NGO/ international development sector of Indonesia.
  • Experience in working with provincial or district government officials and civil society leaders.
  • Experience and skill in building staff capacities to assess, design, plan and manage projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work sensitively with people from various cultural and social backgrounds.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both verbally and in writing.
  • Willingness to visit the field/remote areas of the project sites.
  • Full-time job.
4. Project Administrative Staff:
  • Educational background a minimum diploma degree in Secretary or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as administration staff. 
  • Interpersonal/human resources skills.
  • Having passion in administrative work, hardworking, target oriented, able to work under deadlines.
  • Desired skills: Microsoft office, Adobe Photoshop, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Can handle travel, accommodation, meeting arrangement and may handle bills and paying vendors.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Tight deadlines must be met with limited staff to support.
  • Full-time job.
5. Administrative/Accounting Staff
  • Educational background a minimum diploma degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as accounting staff. 
  • Interpersonal/human resources skills.
  • Having passion in administrative work, hardworking, target oriented, able to work under deadlines.
  • Have experience in using accounting software
  • Can handle travel, accommodation, meeting arrangement and may handle bills and paying vendors.
  • Tight deadlines must be met with limited staff to support.
  • Full-time job.
