British Council in Indonesia is currently seeking Individual Consultants
for its Premier Skills Programmes. Please see below terms of reference

Premier Skills is a partnership which combines the reach of the British Council with the global appeal of the Premier League to engage young people, including disaffected youth, to develop life skills, coach skills and English language skills, through the medium of community-focused football. This year (2012/2013) we want to tie in English element to the community development. The project will be in a defined English course use the material of Premier Skills English. It is a short motivating course for English teachers and learners in our children centres. The course will be approximately 12 week (30 – 50 hours), but possible to extend with cross-curricular projects on topics such as health, teamwork, self-esteem and gender roles. The target age group is people aged 12 and over who are learning English as a second or foreign language.
We are seeking consultant to bring out the best of our learning resources and potential to the Premier Skill roll out - programme in Jakarta.
Key Duties :
1.Provide advice and insight toward short course curriculum and programme development;
2.Create lesson plans and learner’s handbook for short courses implementation
Requirement:
A Master Degree in English Education/English Language Teaching (ELT), experience in module development, and related background working with teachers and children
Length of Assignment:
March – May 2013 (3 months) - Part Time (with possible extension). The consultant is expected to work as soon as possible up to May 2013 in maximum 30 working hours per month.
