Aliansi Masyarakat Adat Nusantara (AMAN) seeks a knowledge management consultant to develop its knowledge management system and practices
This will lead to the creation of solution for a searchable inventory of AMAN’s historical archive, past works, and the development of a knowledge management plan of action, immediately to be implemented by AMAN.A successful consultant will be able to ensure that the solution is feasible for AMAN’s operations, and that the agreed plan of action is implemented by AMAN. The consultant will coordinate with AMAN Secretary-General in performing this task.
This is a time based position. The consultant will not travel outside of Jakarta.
Expected Outputs and Deliverables
Overall coordination
Solution of a searchable inventory of AMAN’s historical archive and past works. Populating this database application will not be the duty of the consultant, but they will provide training for AMAN to be able to use the framework.
Knowledge management plan of action for AMAN, including products, timeline, and roles and responsibilities.
One facilitated knowledge management session to present plan, provide feedback and to adjust the plan, timeline, and roles/responsibilities based on inputs from the session as necessary.
One facilitated knowledge management session to monitor implementation of the plan of action. The consultant will present written report and feedback to AMAN based on the session.
One facilitated knowledge management session to evaluate implementation of the plan of action. The consultant will present written report and feedback to AMAN based on the session.
Duration of the work
- 1 June 2020- 30 November 2020
- Desirable qualifications and experience
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Experience in knowledge management projects (i.e., intranet, communities of practice, content management, etc.) is essential.
- Working knowledge of knowledge management platforms.
- Excellent communications skills, especially written communications, facilitation skills, and ability to interact in a diverse user community.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of social issues in Indonesia, including on indigenous people's rights, desirable.
