Oxford Policy Management Limited Job Vacancy: Early Career Programme as Apprentice Consultants, Jakarta

Oxford Policy Management Limited (OPML) is an international development consultancy committed to helping low- and middle-income countries achieve growth and reduce poverty and disadvantage through public policy reform.

Since 2006, we have been leading technical assistance and assignments In Indonesia across a broad range of areas, including climate change, financial inclusion and market development, and social research – including surveys and qualitative assessments.

Currently, we are looking for two bright individuals to join our Early Career Programme as Apprentice Consultants. This is a full-time, paid, six-month contract role to be based in our office in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supporting project implementation delivered in collaboration with other consultants. This may include organizing project events, designing research instruments, participating in fieldwork, cleaning and analysing data, and others
2. Supporting new business development through project bidding and networking

Qualifications

1. A master degree in Development Studies, Public Policy, or related field
2. At least 2 years’ experience of working/doing research in development and public policy sector. Candidates with particular interest in quantitative research, social development, governance, and monitoring and evaluation are encouraged to apply
3. Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and independently in high-paced environments and as part of multicultural and diverse teams
