Training Center

Disaster Management already evolve as one important knowledge and strategic sector of investment for sustainable development. ADRA-GMAHK Training center aims to increase knowledge and skill of NGOs leaders, Government and private sector on Disaster Management.  The ADRA-GMAHK training center has been work closely with National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) and BPBDs, NGOs, Universities and committed to continue in developing knowledge on Disaster Management and trained hundreds of leaders on disaster management.

Under the overall supervision of ADRA Country Director and ADCOM the Training Centre Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and implementation of the target training, including all substantive and administrative matters.

Training Center Objectives:
  1. Increased engagement and adoption of disaster management in civil society organizations, private sectors and local government.
  2. Produce research on disaster preparedness and strengthening private sectors investment on innovative approaches on DRR
  3. Increased capacity of community to work with private sectors, NGOs and government for disaster risk reduction
Purpose of Position
The Training Centre Manager is expected to do the following:
  1. Create multi-sectors partnership to build knowledge and resources for the fulfilment of Training Center objectives
  2. Building partnership with leaders, private sectors and Government and deliver an exceptional standard of customer service and meet their needs.
  3. Guide and assist consultants, staff and government counterparts towards achievement of project objectives.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships and act as key focal point to ADCOM and Country Director. Ensure all programs, financial and administrative matters managed transparently, expediently and effectively that compliance with ADRA Indonesia Rules and Regulations.
  5. Ensure, maintain and secure all project files, both electronically and paper filing systems..
  6. Perform other duties that may be required by ADRA Country Director and ADCOM.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  1. Master / Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business Administration or proven experience on develop a marketing campaign, marketing strategy, and marketing plan.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant work experience and familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
  3. Host local networking events to help promote the training and sites
  4. Knowledgeable of the issues of DRR and poven experience working with Government, civil society. Working with international organizations and donor agency will be an advantage
  5. Proficiency in develop and tracking budget
