SNV Indonesia is looking for a: ICT Officer

To support its operation, SNV Indonesia is currently seeking for highly qualified national candidate to fill in the position of ICT officer. This is a part time position (4 days a week) and will be working to develop and implement cost-effective technology solutions and frameworks, in alignment with SNV's strategy, negotiate and manage all IT contracts and maintenance agreements, manage the infrastructure, applications and hardware environment, taking into account the wishes of the internal client, and provide user support.
Key Responsibilities
- ICT Strategy & Policy: communicate and implement ICT policies and standards, in line with the organization’s needs and requirements and internal and external developments
- ICT Development: In coordination with Head Office, formulate technical requirements, develop and maintain (components of) applications and assist in the implementation phase, according to procedures, project plan and technical design and by drawing connections between similar applications
- ICT Advice: Provide asked and unasked advice on ICT policies, guidelines, standards and improvement opportunities and act as an effective sparring partner
- Maintenance: Schedule and execute ICT maintenance activities pro-actively, analyse and solve occurring technical ICT problems
- User support: Provide effective and efficient support to users of IT-products and execute (parts of) the incident, problem, change, configuration and release process, in line with defined service processes, procedures, service levels and tools, in order to contribute to the continuity of service delivery
- External relations: Maintain contacts, negotiate contracts and agreements and manage suppliers in executing contracts and manages the operational performance, based on the contracts (including timings, service levels and performance indicators)
- Monitoring and reporting: Monitor performance of the ICT environment and processes and report errors and threats, regularly collect, consolidate and review key information on ICT indicators from the country, when applicable together with the finance department, analyse and interpret trends and developments and identify and report action areas to the ICT at head office, in line with needs of internal clients
- Safety Security and Preparedness: Act as focal point for staff for SNV Indonesia (Jakarta and field offices) determining and maintaining requirements for safety, security and emergency preparedness and associated logistical requirements.
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), and Engineering from a reputable university
- Has knowledge of ICT solutions and has profound knowledge of ICT and system Management and at least one other application.
- Minimum 5 years of related experiences
- Strong interpersonal skill, maintain good partnership with internal users, Regional/Global IT teams and internal/external service providers
- Strong communication skill, understanding intended audience and providing effective communication
- Self-motivated and organized
- Ability to work independently and with the team
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Initiative and creative in solving problems
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia
