Save the Children
in Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to build a 
national organization that aims to be a strong, local, and 
self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia. To this end, SC 
Indonesia has been designated as a “Prospect Member”. As 
‘Prospect
 Member’ Indonesia has been identified as part of the next way of new 
member development, which focuses on strengthening and localizing our 
voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Indonesia has 
been authorized by member ballot to start fundraising
 locally as a first step towards building a financially sustainable 
local organization. Future work will also involve developing a strong 
local governance structure and building key partnerships with local 
government, the private sector, local civil society
 among others. Success of the pilot phase will set the Indonesia on a 
pathway to full membership.
We are currently seeking to fill the 
following position:
Supply Chain Coordinator - Jakarta

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Coordinator is to offer leadership and 
management support to the supply chain and admin staff in Indonesia 
Country Office. The post holder will ensure the compliance to 
organization’s policies  
 and procedures in both emergency and development programing context, 
implementation of logistics requirement and offer training for both 
Supply Chain and non – supply chain staff. Play important role in Total 
Inventory Management (TIM) and Key performance
 Indicator (KPI) to assist Senior Supply Chain Manager to realize 
procurement plan implemented at timely manner and in line with core 
procurement guideline and organization policies. 
Prepare monthly reporting, having better sense of office 
management, managing staffs and good knowledge in dealing with 
negotiations to supplier and conduct in formal quotation process, 
bidding, develop contract
 consultant, tax, advertisement, time management and good filing system.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
 
- Minimum diploma degree or University level.
 - Logistic management 5 years’ experiences working with INGO envirinment within procurment and logistic supply chain national or International.
 - Ability to plan and organize a substantial workload that includes complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities in both development and emergency contexts
 - Willingness and ability to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies
 - Demonstrated credibility with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organization
 - Excellent in interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
 - Mangement skills, including the ability to supervise and motivate the team with strong personal value systems
 - Analytical, decision making and planning skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
 - Ability to coach, mentor, delegate appropriately and provide developmental guidance to supervised staffs
 - Excellent of general administration work
 
Desirable
 
- Experinece Working in Emergencies
 - Managing and coducting internal audits of admin paper works
 - Ability to manage complex and diverse workload and work with tight deadlines.
 - Ability to motivate staffs working collaborately with colleagues and providing suports and advice as necessary.
 - Willingness and ability to change work practice and hours and works according to nature of works in the event of emergencies.
