Translation and Interpreter Service for the UK Climate Change Unit
Introduction
The UK Climate Change Unit (UKCCU) is seeking individuals or
companies to provide Indonesian-English translation services, on an as needed
basis in Jakarta, Papua, West Papua and South Sumatra. Interested parties can
bid for part contracts for some regions, or for the whole contract. However, interested
parties must have a presence in the locality for which they bid for work, as
the contract will not cover significant travel expenses, beyond local travel
within a province. Multiple contracts for this work may be let. All payments
will be for work done, no retainer will be paid.
The UKCCU, based in the British Embassy Jakarta, delivers UK
Government priorities in tackling climate change issues in Indonesia. The unit is focussed on delivering
programmes on Forestry and Low Carbon Development, and on policy work
supporting the Government of Indonesia’s climate change policies. In
implementing its projects, the unit works closely with a number of ministries
