About the program
The Indonesia Australia Partnership for Infrastructure or Kemitraan Indonesia Australia untuk Infrastruktur (KIAT) is an Australian Government funded Facility implemented by Cardno that promotes sustainable and inclusive economic growth through improved access to infrastructure for all people.
KIAT is designed as a 10-year Facility with an indicative budget of A$300 million to assist the Government of Indonesia (GoI) in improving the quality of its own infrastructure spending (including spending by the private sector and MDBs). The Facility provides high quality technical assistance that responds to agreed requests and priorities in the areas of policy and regulatory reform, project preparation, and financing and delivery to encourage greater investment in infrastructure.
KIAT works with a range of stakeholders across Government, the private sector, the multilateral development banks and civil society. The KIAT Facility works closely with GoI on activities, by sourcing technical assistance (individuals, firms, and consortiums), with the initial focus on eight activity streams: Urban Water Supply, Urban Sanitation, Urban Solid Waste Management, Road Network Development, Road Network Management, Urban Mobility, Infrastructure Financing and Funding, Gender and Social Inclusion and Civil Society Engagement.
About the role
As the Availability Payment Coordinator, you will be the focal point for all KIAT activities undertaken on Availability Payments (APs) and will be based in Directorate General Highways (DGH). As the primary focal point on DGH AP issues for KIAT, AP Coordinator will proactively engage with DGH staff on sectoral issues related to the development of AP schemes. He/she will also provide dedicated advice to DGH to ensure successful preparation until the transaction phase of non-toll road AP pilot projects in Sumatra and gather important lessons as inputs to inform the scope of work for a potential second phase on AP toolkit development.
Remuneration
Commensurate with level of experience. Successful Indonesian nationals will be engaged under a local contract in IDR and will be subject to Indonesian employment regulations and tax obligations.
