Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik partner of Save the Children in Indonesia is changing for the better. We've begun to build a national organisation that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia namely Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. To this end, Yayasan has been designated as a “Prospect Member of Save the Children” which focuses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle income countries. Currently Save the Children’s programs in Indonesia is implemented by Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik. We work in eleven provinces, have staff of approximately 300 local professionals, and programming in Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian Response.
We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
SENIOR MANAGER CENTRAL INDONESIA AREA

ROLE PURPOSE:
The Senior Manager will be accountable for all activities of Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik in Central Indonesia. Thematic programing in Central Indonesia consists of education, child protection and health and nutrition, based out of our offices across East, West, and Central Java provinces and greater Jakarta.
Programme implementation duties will include ensuring all program activities are implemented according to plan and at a high-level of quality; all reporting and planning is completed in a timely manner and at a high-quality; all communications are completed in a timely and accurate manner; effective coordination with key external stakeholders; child safeguarding controls are enforced; and financial and administrative management adheres to Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik and donors policies, regulations, and good practices.
The Senior Manager will also be accountable for Area Program Strategy through the line management of the PDQ Manager and ensure we advocate with key government stakeholders to achieve positive change using evidence from our program work as the basis. S/he will represent Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik in East, West, and Central Java provinces and greater Jakarta and support program development and emergency preparedness and response. The position will require travel to field locations and support for hosting donor visits.
