WWF Indonesia Job Vacancy: Marketing Director, Jakarta

WWF-Indonesia, an independent national conservation organization, is part of a global network of WWF. WWF-IDN is currently seeking for the best candidate for the position of Marketing Director.

This position will be based in Jakarta and report to CEO. The job holder plays an important role in ensuring domestic funding supports for WWF-Indonesia conservation initiatives. Working within a committed mission-driven culture, he/she leads the design and delivery of an integrated and innovative marketing and domestic fundraising strategy that have direct impact on our environmental conservation and sustainable development goals.

The main responsibilities of Marketing Director are:
  • Providing the strategic leadership required to determine, establish and manage marketing directorate of WWF-Indonesia as a leading conservation organization in Indonesia.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic direction for marketing business plan to strengthen domestic resources to support WWF Indonesia’s conservation mission with the bottom line of growing brand awareness and raising unrestricted funds to  meet  the  long-term  objective  of  expanding  the  conservation  impact  of  the organization.
  • Fundraising and increasing brand awareness across target segments through effective communications including digital/online media channels by developing a creative fundraising strategies with new and existing communications tools;
  • Planning of market penetration of individual donors and corporate CSR to raise awareness and financial support and maintain good relations with the financial supporters using the latest market trend and technology available to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing and fundraising program.
  • Planning and developing a range of conservation products for marketing sponsorships to ensure the diversity and sustainability of financial support.
  • Establishing and maintaining sound working relationships with all relevant key stakeholders.
  • Leading and managing the Marketing directorate and ensuring regular or periodic review and evaluation of the on-going plan and performance, and make necessary adjustment or alignment to the strategy.
  • Playing an active role in the WWF's Asia Pacific region and global network in order to get a strong support for fundraising initiatives.
  • Performing other duties as required by the CEO.
Requirements for This Position are:
  • Minimum Master Degree
  • At least 8-10 years of proven leadership experience with at least 4 years in senior level.
  • Energetic fundraiser, a campaigner and a natural communicator who demonstrates the passion and drive to save life on Earth.
  • Experience in developing and implementing segmentation, targeting and positioning strategies.
  • Extensive experience identifying and developing effective fundraising products and recruitment channels.
  • Excellent sales background and negotiation skills.
  • Proven leadership and superior interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and develop others.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Advanced degree qualifications in marketing, business management, or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A strong interest in environmental conservation.
