Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest for the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Coordinator, Jakarta based on our USAID LESTARI project. USAID’s LESTARI project supports the Government of Indonesia to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and conserve biodiversity in carbon rich and biologically significant forest and mangrove ecosystems.
Job Summary: s/he is responsible for the timely collection, processing, and systematic distribution of information generated in the LESTARI project using a monitoring data base agreed upon and approved by USAID. This information will be used to inform the technical direction of LESTARI, in initial strategic planning and then for all annual work planning. It will also be consolidated in reports to USAID for review and approval per contractual due dates. In addition, s/he will work with mission partners and provide processed data for input to the USAID/Indonesia annual operations plans, performance reports, and program implementation reviews. S/he oversees a team including M&E as well as Communications & Advocacy staff. This includes overall management and technical responsibility for the M&E staff, and more limited management oversight of Communications & Advocacy Staff. The Deputy Chief of Party will work with the Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Coordinator and Communications & Advocacy Staff to ensure provision of adequate technical guidance.
Requirements include previous experience in a similar position for USAID project or other international donor projects; has ability to provide reporting data and ability to design data collection protocols; familiar with SPSS program is an advantage; familiar with USAID procedures and regulations; demonstrated ability to design and manage performance management plans (PMP); demonstrated management experience and ability to develop and maintain databases; and demonstrated ability to play collegial and leadership roles working on multi-disciplinary teams. University degree in related field required.
