Oxfam in Indonesia is looking for Field Facilitator - South Sulawesi

FIELD  FACILITATOR

In all we do, Oxfam works with partner organisations and alongside vulnerable women and men to end the injustice that cause poverty.
Program 
Oxfam helps local partners and civil society especially women and men who live in vulnerable coastal areas to improve their resilience in social , economic and ecological mangrove ecosystems which are in 4 districts namely Takalar, Maros, Barru and Pangkajene Islands in South Sulawesi . 

To help communities and partners in product development and market access,and environment management, Oxfam looking for field facilitators to assist us in support groups  in vulnerable community related to strengthening organization, environmental awareness, as well as product development and market access for small -scale food producers/enterprises or groups of businesses in coastal communities. 

Oxfam looking for Field Facilitator for assisting community groups in coastal areas in the district location (Pangkep & Barru or other area). 

Duties and Responsibilities 

The Field facilitators tasks are to facilitate of community groups in term strengthening organization, business development and environment management as facilitating the community in improving quality of production, the development of business networks, access to finance, support from other agencies,advocacy and government support.   
 
Requirements
 
Field Facilitators must meet  criteria with the following requirements: 
  • Experienced in the development of product and market access for coastal communities in Indonesia.
  • Experienced in activities / work assistance related to the development and empowerment at least 1 year .  
  • Ability to coordinate / cooperate with the government, private sector and other parties related to:  
    • Able to work together in teams. 
  • Discipline, honest  and committed in carrying out the duties and responsibilities.
  • Understand the coastal resources management, rights-based approaches, environment/coastal resources management and the dynamics of the local market in Indonesia, especially South Sulawesi. 
  • Ability to integrate gender equality, women's rights, the alignments on small-scale food producers and  sustainability in research.
