British Council is looking to
recruit for a Finance Officer to join our team in Indonesia to provide
support to the ASEAN region (EU Share).
As a Finance Officer, you will be
supporting the Programme Manager – EU Share to support finance
management, co-ordinating between internal and external resources whilst
keeping in line with British Council’s standards for project,
contracts, financial and client management.
You will be responsible for managing
contracts with partners, vendors or consultants as agreed with the Team
Leader and the Programme Manager. You will also lead on the monthly
reconciliation and monitor the project budget and report to the
Programme manager for any risks involved. You are to manage information
created and received in compliance with the British Council’s
information management standards, policies, the UK data protection
principles and local legislation.
To be considered for the role, you
must have proven record of experience in project finance management for a
Donor Agency and also have experience in managing partners and vendors
in delivering objectives. You will be a degree holders and also be
required to have a good proficiency in English and Bahasa.
