IFES Indonesia - Terms of Reference
Position Title: Driver
Anticipated start as soon as possible.
Background
IFES
is an international, nonprofit organization that supports the building
of democratic societies. IFES promotes democratic stability by providing
technical assistance and applying field-based research to the electoral
cycle in countries around the world to enhance citizen participation
and strengthen civil societies, governance and transparency. Founded in
1987 as a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization, IFES has developed and
implemented comprehensive, collaborative democracy solutions in more
than 120 countries.
Scope of Work:
· Operate assigned vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner
· Provide a comfortable and effective drive for assigned passengers
· Conduct tasks in town in support of the office, such as delivery and collections of items, procurement and paying bills
· Keep
the assigned vehicle in immaculate condition, inside and outside.
Coordinate the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with
management and staff to minimize service interruptions
· Maintain
accurate, up-to-date records on trip sheets, vehicle maintenance, fuel
purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports
and other records that are requested from management
· Be well-presented at all times when on duty
· Assist the IFES Administrative Assistant with managing all transport related issues in general, three vehicles and two drivers
· Assist with the reception and switchboard when required
· Be proactive and positive
· Any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements:
· Have a valid B1 driving license;
· Able to drive using manual or matic including 4x4 vehicle;
· Have experience of driving for 3 years;
· Basic English conversation is required;
· Familiar with Jakarta areas;
· Good interpersonal skills;
· Proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations;
