Save the Children Vacancy: Roving Program Manager based in Jakarta

Save the Children is an international NGO and the world’s top independent charity for children in need. Since 1919, we have been fighting for children’s rights, saving their lives and providing hope for brighter futures worldwide.  In Indonesia, Save the Children currently works in eleven provinces, has staff of approximately 195 local professionals, and programming in Child Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Humanitarian Response.  Save the Children in Indonesia is seeking to fill the following position:

ROVING PROGRAM MANAGER
1 position, based in Jakarta and other locations in Indonesia as assigned
Code : RPM-CO

Role purpose:
Roving Program Manager plays a lead role in starting up new projects and offices in new project locations in order to ensure timely set up and implementation start up. S/he will temporarily manage project implementation, project staff and offices until a permanent management position is in place. S/he will have a crucial role in stepping in and supporting various projects across Indonesia in urgently addressing emerging issues or challenges to deliver timely, successful, high-quality, on-budget programs for the Indonesia Country Office.  S/he will also support emergency preparedness and humanitarian activities as necessary.
