Global Peace Foundation Vacancy: Program Director Based In Jakarta

OVERVIEW
Global Peace Foundation – Indonesia is seeking a dynamic, experienced Program Director to drive its programs strategy and implementation.  This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Global Peace Foundation – Indonesia, which is a national chapter of the Global Peace Foundation (GPF).

Global Peace Foundation is a non-religious, non-political NGO. GPF’s vision is to help people from different backgrounds (socio-economic, sectors, nationality, race, culture, faith, tribal, etc.) to come together and work towards solving complex social problems with new innovative approaches.

KEY OBJECTIVES
  • Develop, manage and measure a program plan for GPF- Indonesia
  • Collaborate and align with the programs plans of multiple levels of the organization
KEY COMPETENCIES
  • 5-10 years of experience in program management
  • Long-term strategic planner with project management abilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Create and pilot the implementation of the program plan of GPF- Indonesia including: objectives, themes, targets, budget, tools, media, and indicators, using a long-term strategy
  • Oversee the implementation of all programs of GPF Indonesia
  • Creatively find out and capture stories of transformation and change in GPF’s key programs
  • Supervise each Program Coordinator in doing the task for each program
  • Lead in program planning, management, and evaluation
  • Align with the international organization’s overall Program strategy
  • Propose relevant Program tools and media. Contribute to the exchange of best practices
  • Quickly learn new material, becoming an expert in Global Peace Foundation’s area of work
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors Degree (Masters Preferred)
  • 5-10 years of Program Management experience or equivalent
  • Have held roles in which you were accountable for performing ROI analysis and budget management
  • Proactive, long-term strategic thinker
  • Outstanding and proactive portfolio and project management, with ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Outgoing personality and excellent professional social and relationship-building skills in interactions with stakeholders
  • Team player who can work in a very integrated way with other department
  • Strong analytic abilities, attention to detail, and a prompt follow-through
  • And, most importantly, a demonstrated commitment to GPF’s mission and vision
