Background
The
Australia Indonesia Partnership for Promoting Rural Income through Support for
Markets in Agriculture (AIP-PRISMA) is an ambitious new rural development
program which aims to contribute to a 30%, or more, increase in net incomes for
1,000,000 poor rural female and male farmers, 300,000 of which will be reached
by June 2017.
The role:
Under the
direction of the Contracts Manager, the Contracts Officer will support all contract
matters for the project. The Contracts Officer will assist partners in correct
use of grant funds and related reporting, compliance related support to
projects, and supporting the contract process for business partners and
personnel.
Selection criteria:
The
successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy or other relevant qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contract management or equivalent post.
- Understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules or similar government donor requirement
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner organizations.
- Experience working for large accounting firm, NGO, company or donor agency.
- Experience in providing financial training and mentoring/coaching.
- Experience in conducting financial audits.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and the internet.
- Demonstrated ability to promote and initiate work processes and complete given assignments with minimal supervision.
- Trustworthiness, integrity, good analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team and be customer-satisfaction oriented.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and a good working knowledge of English.
