Protection, Education, Health and Nutrition, Disaster Risk Reduction,
and Humanitarian Response. Save the Children in Indonesia is seeking
to fill the following position:
Cashier – West Java Project
based in Bandung, 1 position

Reports to: Finance & Budget Officer
The
Cashier is responsible for the smooth execution of the day to day
financial operations, including disbursement of expense claim, accurate
and timely recording of transactions and implementation systematic
filing and retrieval
system of documents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the availability of appropriate amount in the checking/current account.
- Make payment/disbursement of expense claim two (2) days after receipt of the bill, if applicable.
- Ensure that all check books are properly kept inside the safety box after office hours.
- Prepare financial documentation for all transactions and facilitate approval.
- Prepare and submits accurate daily cash position report and keeps the supervisor informed about fund balance.
- Implements a systematic filing and retrieval system of documents.
- Maintain and updates cash advance logbook, advice time notices of overdue cash advance check books
- Accurate and timely recording of Petty Cash Fund Expenses and replenishment
- Ensure that the petty cash box is properly kept inside the safety box after office hours
- Ensure availability of transaction document such Invoice, etc.
- Ensure the amount of cash in the Petty cash should not more allowed limit.
- Timely cash request form Finance and Administration Officer
- Support Finance and Budget Officer in collecting and sorting all payment documents.
- Close coordination with Finance and Budget Officer and Finance assistant.
Emergency Response Management
· Coordinate all related with Financial and Budget Management when responding any potential emergencies in West Java
QUALIFICATION
Essential
- 3 years experience working in non-profit environment
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and AGRESSO Financial Management System.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
- Experience with financial and grants management
- Show initiative and work independently
- Respond to requests, queries in timely manner
- Good information sharing/communication skills
- Attention to detail, particularly with regards to expense transactions and financial reporting
