AIP-PRISMA
Australia Indonesia Partnership
for Promoting Rural Income through Support for Markets in Agriculture
(AIP-PRISMA) is designed to be an effective mechanism for embedding Markets for
the Poor (M4P) in Indonesia. PRISMA aims to increase rural incomes in five
provinces of Eastern Indonesia to contribute to a 30%, or more, increase in net
incomes for 1 million poor rural female and male farmers, 300,000 of which will
be reached by June 2017. SNV Indonesia, as a Co-Facilitator organisation for
PRISMA, will carry out Cassava and Coconut interventions in NTT and East Java.
SNV is currently looking
for qualified National staff for the following positions:
Two (2) Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME)
Officers:
1 in
Surabaya (position code: PMEO Surabaya)
1 in Jakarta (position code: PMEO Jakarta)
Duties:
The Planning Monitoring
and Evaluation Officer will support the project to manage the Monitoring and
Result Measurement (MRM) system of the interventions based on PRISMA guidelines
that follow DCED standards for results measurement. The PME officer will report
directly to the SNV PRISMA program managers and the Senior PME Officer based in
Jakarta.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the project team, partner and stakeholder to support the implementation of monitoring according to the PRISMA and SNV standards
- Work with SNV PRISMA team and SNV’s Senior PME Officer at the Jakarta office to update result chains and measurement plans as required
- Work with the SNV PME Officer at the Jakarta office to design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research and ensuring proper use of research tools and methods assisting the SNV PRISMA team with research design and analysis where necessary
- Coordinate with PME Officer at Jakarta office to update SNV’s PME system, assuring the quality of the results measured during the project
- Ensure the monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) based on the PRISMA standards
- Support the PRISMA Project Manager in reporting (monthly report, quarterly, annual report and other reports) based on PRISMA standards
- Support knowledge management by providing case studies, PME data, lessons learned and other data to the donor and stakeholders
Candidate profile
- Over 3 years “working knowledge” and experience in result measurement activities, preferable in private sector/market development projects and/or in agriculture development projects
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative research and/or statistics.
- Knowledge on the DCED standard is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills in qualitative and quantitative research
- Highly proficient in use of MS Excel for analysis and data collection
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams
- Ability to collaborate and coordinate between different teams to achieve objectives
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
For all positions, frequent travel to the
intervention areas is required.
Contract duration: 1 year fixed term or consultancy contract with the
possibility of extension.
