Position: Job Fair Planning Consultant (1 person)

BACKGROUND
As part of the
administrative
reform efforts, KemenPAN –as the responsible agency in creating and supervising
nationwide recruitment of civil servant- is keen to improve the public servant
recruitment systems into more open and transparent, to avoid the frauds and
recover public trust to the selection systems, and to encourage best qualified
candidates to apply. KemenPAN believe that the open, transparent, and fair
competition will encourage best candidates (for which the public has to compete
with the private sector) to apply as the public servant, and as the outcome,
the GoI will get more professional and competence employee.
Facing the 2014 public servant recruitment,
KemenPAN plan
to host a job fair to
promote their new recruitment systems to build public trust on the changes
made, encourage more best and qualified candidates to apply, and publish
all 2014 vacancies in the GoI offices.
In this regard, MSI will hire an event organizer consultant to assist our GoI
partner to create the design and a detail plan
for the job fair.
OBJECTIVE
Concept, and
detailed plan for the KemenPAN’s job fair is created and approved by KemenPAN.
SCOPE OF WORKS
Consultant
work in allocated time as follows:
- 3 days for:
- Interview and collect idea from KemenPAN on the job fair.
- Assess readiness of KemenPAN to host the job fair.
- 8 days for:
- Drafting job fair design which include;
- Concept of the event which at least covers the expected output, criteria of targeted participants/visitors, design of the job fair
- Detailed information on; list of proposed agenda, venue, and budget projection.
- Outreach plan for the job fair.
- Presenting the draft of job fair design to kemenPAN and SIAP 1. (in form of written draft of the job fair design and slides)
- 2 days for:
- Revising the job fair design based on the feedback received during the presentation
- 2 days for:
- Presenting final design of the job fair to kemenPAN and SIAP 1 for approval.
DELIVERABLES
- Report on the result of assessment to KemenPAN on their expectation and modality to host the job fair.
- First draft of job fair design (in form of written draft of the job fair design and slides)
- Final and approved design of the job fair (in form of written draft of the job fair design and slides)
CONSULTANT’S REQUIREMENT
- The candidate must meet the following requirements: Individual consultant
- Having the ability to provide services as consultant
- Having at least 5 years of experience in hosting/designing job fair or other expo.
- Having a good performance, and not being black-listed in any state agencies or state owned companies
- Not in the supervision of the court, not in a bankrupt condition, and/or not serving criminal sentences
- Not provide false statements about their competencies and professional skills.
