5. Project Description:
Indonesia,
the fourth most populous country in the world (about 236 million), the country
with the largest Muslim population in the world, is the scene of one of the
largest Tsunami disaster in modern history. In the affected provinces of North
Sumatra and Aceh Province live more than 22 million people. Now, after 10 years
of Johanniter´s engagement,
the project
regions are JAVA and SUMATRA and in the near future possibly East Timor.
In case of natural
disasters in Indonesia, the Johanniter deliver short term Humanitarian Aid
through our partner organizations.
6. Job Description:
Reporting
to: Regional Director in Yangon
Working
with: Finance Administration Officer in Jakarta if applicable
7. Job Responsibilities:
General:

Office
management
-
Networking

Cooperation
with MoH tightly

Leading
process of prolonging the MoU with MoH
-
Support
media, press and visibility work in conjunction with Johanniter Marketing and
Fundraising department

Fulfill
other activities within the job and in coordination with the Regional Director,
especially in case of natural disasters
Projects:
-
Conduct
assessments to find new project partners and new funding options
-
Report
and proposal writing in cooperation with partners
-
Supervise
and monitor projects in Indonesia and Timor-Leste
-
Visit
of project sides regularly if security allows in coordination with Regional
Director
-
Financial
management (including planning, coordination and evaluation
of all project activities) in
cooperation with the Regional Director SEA
Finances:
-
Control
project budgets
-
Ensure
adequate and orderly project accounting and proper cash-flow
-
Check
final accounts presented by the project partners

Elaborate
new budgets of the project partners following the JUH-guidelines in cooperation
with Regional Director

Prepare
and write monthly financial reports for HQ
