Indonesian Climate Change Trust Fund Vacancy: Internal Audit - Company

The Government of Indonesia established a national trust fund mechanism called the Indonesian Climate Change Trust Fund (ICCTF) in 2009 to attract, facilitate, and coordinate financial support for climate change related activities. ICCTF is the first integrated financial mechanism for Indonesia’s national policies and programs on addressing climate change and has been in operation since 2010.

ICCTF is currently looking for qualified firm/company to provide services as
INTERNAL AUDIT (Company).

The Internal Audit Service is responsible for conducting the following activities:
  • To undertake objective and independent appraisal on financial and administrative activities of ICCTF Secretariat and ICCTF funded projects. It shall provide services to the whole organization at all level of management.
  • To provide advices on the financial and administrative aspects when deemed necessary. 
  • To evaluate the performance of the ICCTF Secretariat operations (under the PREP-ICCTF project) 
  • To ensure that the risk is minimized and proper control and governance are in place.
The Internal Audit Service is reporting directly to the Chairperson of ICCTF Technical Committee, i.e., Director of Environmental Affairs, Bappenas; and later to the Secretary of MWA-ICCTF when the MWA-ICCTF is in operation. 

Qualifications:

Firm/Company Eligible to Submit Proposal
  • Registered independent audit firm in Indonesia.
  • The audit firm should have a minimum five years’ experience in internal audit, with at least one year of which must be in a similar assignment for non-profit organization.
  • Experience with trust fund management institution will be a significant advantage.
  • The audit firm should allocate minimum two key personnel, i.e.  one Audit Team Leader and two Auditors, and other supporting staffs. The selected key personnel should not have participated in the ICCTF operation and ICCTF funded projects, and should not have conflict of interest with ICCTF activities.
