About ICCC
ICCC
is a mechanism to utilize the findings of Indonesia's scientific
community and coordinate technical input, including from international
experts, to address pressing policy priorities. The Center provides a
channel and forum for recommendations from the scientific community to
decision-makers, and vice versa. The Center serves to encourage robust
science-policy linkages in support of actions to deal with issues of
climate change in Indonesia.
Overall
direction for The Center work is provided by the National Council on
Climate Change Indonesia (Dewan Nasional Perubahan Iklim), comprised of
Echelon One officers from the 17 Member Ministries and the Meteorology,
