IFES
is a non-profit, non-partisan international organization. As the global
leader in democracy promotion, IFES advances good governance and
democratic rights by providing technical assistance to election
officials; empowering the underrepresented to participate in the
political process; and applying field-based research to improve the
electoral cycle. Since 1998, IFES has provided technical assistance to
support Indonesia’s civil society and democratic institutions. IFES
Indonesia is currently implementing the Elections 2014 Administration
Program (EAP) funded by the United States Agency for International
Development (USAID). Currently we are seeking Office Assistant to help project implementation in IFES Indonesia.
Scope of Work
a) Provide administration support to IFES Indonesia staff;
b) Dust daily;
c) Vacuum clean once a week or more often if needed;
d) Clean the windows;
e) Deliver message/ letters/fax and/ or make errands for office needs;
f) Assist receiving guests, phone calls, letter, goods and office supplies;
g) Ensure a supply of office stationary;
h) Ensure of pantry goods;
i) Ensure a supply of drinking water;
j) Wash the cup, glasses and utensils;
k) Assist setting up room for meetings and other sessions;
l) Copy documents;
m) Replace receptionist when needed (lunch/pray time);
n) Dealing with queries or requests from the visitors and employees;
o) Undertake other tasks as directed by the Head of Support or other IFES staff as deemed appropriate.
Requirements
The selected Consultant will:
- Minimum 1 years experience in relevant field, preferably within NGOs or International Organization;
- Min. High School graduate with basic office skills;
- Knowledge of clerical and standard administrative procedures;
- Basic Understanding in English command;
- High initiative at work;
- Good communication & Interpersonal skill;
- Should be honest, respectful and trustworthy.
