Background
A USAID – funded Tuberculosis Project is looking for a Senior Level Advisor
to fill the vacant post below:

Job Purpose:
The TB Advisor will be responsible for providing
technical advice and support for grantees and to the project as a whole. Also
responsible for identifying other Technical
Advisor/s requirements for the project and for
the grantees.
- Provide technical inputs on various aspects of the project including DOTS expansion, training, social mobilization;
- Facilitate the integration of the Monitoring data collected at the community level to be integrated within the general NTP M&E system;
- Coordinate with NTP and regional MoH on the integration of DOT community activities within the health system looking for better ways to complement and integrate both strategies;
- Coordinate with NTP to determine all training and other technical needs and to identify suitable opportunities to support each component of the project;
- Function as the liaison between the NTP, MOH, private providers groups, hospitals and USAID on all technical matters related to the project.
- Supervise the content of the ACSM messages, training material and tools developed to be implemented at the community level to ensure compliance with NTP strategy
- Provide advocacy for TB control strategy at the provincial and district level
Minimum Requirements:
The proposed TB Advisor must meet
the following minimum requirement:
- Up to date understanding of TB control concepts and program approaches
- Masters Degree in Public Health, or relevant major with at least 10 years experience in TB technical assistance.
- Experience with non-government organizations, at least some experience in managing health projects.
- Demonstrated ability to write high quality reports and other project documents in Indonesian and English
- Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural team.
