The Micronutrient Initiative (MI) is an international
not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that the world’s most
vulnerable – especially women and children – in developing countries get the
vitamins and minerals they need to survive and thrive. Its mission is to
develop, implement and monitor innovative, cost effective and sustainable
solutions for hidden hunger, in partnership with others.
MI would like to further explore the scope and opportunity
of engaging in programs of IFA supplementation for pregnant women in Indonesia.
Towards this MI would like to undertake a landscaping and stakeholder analysis
of IFA supplementation programs for pregnant women. MI proposes to hire the
services of a competent consultant with extensive experience in the
nutrition/health sector to undertake the landscaping and stakeholder analysis.
Interested candidates for the position should have the following qualifications and experience:
· Post graduate degree in public health, nutrition or related fields.
· At least 10-15 years of experience in the field of public health and nutrition.
· Experience with diarrhoea programs desirable.
· Competent in written and spoken English.
· Familiarity with Microsoft office programs.
