RTI International is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill the HR Officer position to be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the recruitment activities of local national staff  including job advertisement, application screening, interview set up, documents verification, processing New Hire Forms, and sending job offers to successful candidates 
  • Provide on-boarding and HR orientation for new project hires 
  • Facilitate enrollment of new project employees into the private medical insurance plan 
  • Track employment contracts expiration and in coordination with project managers, prompt their timely extensions or termination of employment 
  • Prepare Personnel Actions Forms (PARs) in case of change of employment conditions such as changes to salary, title, etc.
  • Maintain personnel files including confidential data and reports (in electronic and hard copy format, as required) 
  • Source short-term technical assistance (STTA) input as identified by the technical team, gather and verify relevant documents from the candidates, and prepare necessary documents for the issuance of consultancy agreements.  Help create, and work through, the Technical Support Network (TSN). 
  • Take part in the modification processes of consultancy agreements, ensure proper close out of the agreements
  • Create and maintain a database of STTA CVs on the project share drive for use by technical staff for future STTA assignments, and in the TSN 
  • Track and facilitate timely completion of timesheets by project staff 
  • Enter employees’ time record to the system
  • Process employee's requests for paid and unpaid leaves, track leaves taken against authorized number of days
  • Perform day-to-day HR operational tasks as required and other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field, and 6 years related experience, or Master's degree and 3 years related experience
  2. Ability to prioritize issues and work in multi-tasking environment
  3. High degree of professionalism and discretion; culturally astute
  4. Ability to work independently as well as performing in matrix organisation
  5. Strong negotiations skills
  6. Strong writing and presentation skills
  7. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
  8. Fluency in English (both oral and written)
