Finance Officer (full time) – Education Partnership Outreach Services

is the managing contractor of the Education Partnership Outreach
Services (EPOS), providing project management and technical support. The
objective of EPOS is to deliver a public diplomacy and outreach program
that will ensure Australia’s profile as a partner supporting
Indonesia’s education development goals are both visible and recognised.
We
are seeking expressions of interest from Finance Officers who can
maintain accurate and appropriate financial management and reporting
systems. You will have previous experience in managing program
expenditure including petty cash, budgeting, forecasting, and variance
analysis reporting and ensuring the implementation of anti-fraud
mechanisms. You will oversee the finance systems, providing mentoring
and professional development to support staff, strengthening the
financial management capacity of EPOS personnel and ensuring the robust
management of the financial aspects of EPOS.
In addition, you will have the following qualifications/experience:
- Bachelor Degree or its equivalent in Accounting or Financial Management
- Previous experience at the financial management or financial officer level
- Strong accounting and IT skills, including accounting software, Excel, MS Office, Outlook and the internet
- Ability to coordinate operational financial activities, and assist in the development and maintenance of leading practice financial management systems and administrative processes
- Ability to schedule and prioritise workloads as required
- English language skills (both written and oral) including an ability to develop high level financial reports
- Success working as part of a small team within a cross-cultural team environment
- Commitment to principles of gender equality, capacity development and anti-corruption
- Previous experience working in a development program is desirable but not essential
Salary range: IDR 10million-15million gross per month, depending on relevant qualifications and experience
