World Food Programme Indonesia invites applications from the eligible candidates for the following position:
Title : Senior IT Assistant (Web Developer)
Contract Type : Special Service Agreement
Duration : 3 months
Duty Station : Jayapura, Indonesia
Accountabilities: Under direct supervision of Head of Jayapura Sub Office in collaboration with ICT Unit in Jakarta, The Senior IT Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:
* Collect, compile and formulate the information for the content of the Government partner website;
* Design, develop and establish the proper official website according to structure and content approved by government partners and WFP;
* Mentoring and involving delegated Government staff member in the process of website development;
* Formulate training material and conduct training session for Government partner in particular field of Website development and maintenance;
* Maintain web pages, electronic documents, statistical databases;
* Train and support users of technology and systems, such as audio/videoconferences, meetings, databases, networks, etc;
* Provide hardware and software troubleshooting support to the office and staff who seeks for technical advice and support from ICT Unit;
* Resolve a variety of problems and/or assist in resolution of problems by identifying and forwarding issues to the appropriate person;
* Provide Technical assistance to government partners in the field of Information Technology and management;
* Participate in meetings with government partners in related to Information Technology field.
* Perform any other duty as required;
Qualifications and Experiences:
Education:
University degree and/or equivalent experiences with emphasis in one or more of the following disciplines: Information System, Information management, Electrical Engineering or other related field.
Experience:
At least five years of progressively responsible job related experience in information technology or information management, such as, web development, operating systems, LAN/WAN, databases, registry or similar. Some experience in client support, such as, a Help Desk or User Support Unit, web design team, telephone maintenance service, or similar.
Knowledge:
Very good knowledge and experience in Drupal Content Management System, PHP and MySQL database. Proficient in HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, MySql and AJAX. Strong analytical, technical experience in website management, reporting and presenting outcomes of project. General knowledge of UN system policies, rules, regulations and procedures governing human resources administration. Good knowledge of the region highly desirable
Language:
Fluency in both oral and written English and Bahasa Indonesia.
