development, humanitarian and advocacy interventions. We currently work
to improve the livelihoods of the poor, build participation in
governance and save lives by delivering humanitarian assistance. All of

highly motivated individual to fill national position based in Papua to
work on the Oxfam Papua Area Office.
Finance Officer – Papua Enterprise Development Programme
One (1) position to be based in Jayapura – Papua
This is a Fixed Term Contract for 8 months with possibility to extend
Overall purpose:
Under the supervision of the Area Finance Manager, the Finance Officer will oversee the finance function related to the implementation of the "PEDP" programme in the programme area.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:

SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:
Essential:
- Commitment to Oxfam's overall aims and values, including strong commitment to gender, diversity issues, Code Of Conduct, equal opportunities and capacity building;
- Education to part-qualified level with proven accounting experience.
- Computer literacy - good working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel) is essential.
- Ability to prioritise own workload, to work independently and to work to deadlines.
- Experience of management/supervisory responsibilities.
- Good written and spoken English is essential.
- Well developed interpersonal and team skills and proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations.
Desirable:
- Previous working experience with Oxfam GB or INGO.
- Experience in emergency relief program.
- Mature and professional attitude and approach.
Terms and Conditions:
Post based in area office. Regular visits to the field.
