Objective: GRI is currently looking for a Senior Gender Justice Advisor for long or short-term positions with an anticipated USAID-funded Rule of Law project in Indonesia.
Qualifications:
- Minimum ten (10) years experience promoting women’s participation and rights in the justice sector, 15 years preferred
- Experience training and/or mentoring judges and lawyers on gender equality issues, including gender mainstreaming of legal curriculum
- Experience with divorce, child custody, and domestic violence a plus
- Legal clinic experience a plus
- Experience with community education for women’s legal rights a plus
- Strong management and organizational skills
- Previous work experience in Indonesia required, Indonesian nationals preferred
- Professional level fluency in English required
- JD or LLM required
